Louis Chen is a researcher at the Quantum Centre (QuEST) of Imperial College London. After completing his master's degree at Imperial College, he served as an R&D engineer at TSMC, engaging in the research and development of embedded memory and 3DIC. During his doctoral studies, in addition to participating in quantum computing hardware research projects at the QuEST he also served as a quantum policy-making assistant. In the realm of quantum computing algorithms, not only has he served as a mentor at IBM Quantum, QWorld, and QOSF, but he also founded the quantum research institution Quantumpedia. The institution aims to develop quantum computing algorithms that can be applied in the industry in the near term. Currently, several researchers within the institution are actively developing new quantum algorithms.
